"LiveJasmin
is the first site where I started modeling, so because of this, I have
acquired a solid list of regular customers. I have found that while
traffic is not the highest on LiveJasmin,
the customer loyalty is overwhelming and the amount of time customers
spend with you makes it extremely worth while to spend some time there
getting to know people. On LiveJasmin, I can easily make $100 - $200 in an hour from the regulars.
........ When you first log on after creating your account DON'T GET DISCOURAGED if you don't make any money right away. When you read articles on how to become a web cam model, you hear about the jaw dropping figures people make and it is extremely enticing. Yes, people do make that much money (people who have been on for years with a solid fan base and understand how to maximize sales by lighting, camera positions, flirting, etc.). No, it doesn't happen the minute you log on. It took me about 2 weeks to really make any decent money. You have to be patient. Remember, it is expensive to pay to watch someone on cam. You have to prove to the viewers that you are worth it. They need to like you. They need to feel that you connect with them. They do not want to pay for some unattainable picture perfect person they know they will never get. They want to spend time with someone who is real. Someone who, maybe, just maybe, they can meet. (Which will - and should NEVER happen). If you can prove to them that you like spending time with them, and that their time with you is valuable, then you will see the money start to come in, and by the 3rd or 4th week, it will be coming in by the hundreds.
.........One tip I wish I would have known. Maybe it's why it took me so long to make money right away. GET YOUR PICTURE UP IMMEDIATELY. I went for about 3 weeks with no profile picture. All I had was a silhouette that said "New Performer." I'm sure that did not help me at all. And in my profile, I did not use a face pic. I used a body shot. I personally just felt more comfortable doing that. When you are a new performer, you will also be "on sale" to customers. Take advantage of this. If you are a new performer with your picture up, customers will be looking at you right away. And if you are "on sale" and they like your picture, they feel it is worthwhile to stop in your room and hangout. When they do, TALK TO THEM. Hook them with your wit and charm. make them take advantage of the promotional new performer price and make them become YOUR regular customers. This new performer promotional period is the best way to get paying customers to visit you and become regulars. I was so mad when I learned how everything worked, and that I completely missed that opportunity. I always think about how much more I could be making if I would have used the new performer promotional period to my advantage."

What guy wouldn't want to be more muscular? Looking at the top performers on any webcam model site, you'll see that they are all chiseled like Greek statues. How can you get this way? What are Chargebacks?
"Credit card chargeback does occur but not too frequently. When a member
disputes a charge or a stolen card was used, then the earnings from that
private session will be reversed. The performer, affiliate who sent the
traffic, and the cam network all lose the earnings from that sale. The
cam network has to pick up the extra charges that the bank adds each

Earning Potential
"Every potential webcam model that is
contemplating live sex as a career wants to know exactly how much a
webcam performer can earn online! The answer is thousands of dollars

However, to say that every performer who
registers today will be earning an executive income tomorrow would be

A percentage will be paid to affiliates who spend their time creating sites that promote you as a performer. They may promote only your chatroom or they might promote the entire network that you have registered with. Affiliates drive traffic to your room. It is their traffic (visitors) that you convert to revenue when they enter a private sex show. Because affiliates are an integral part of any successful cam network, it is fair to reward their effort.
The broadcast network will also take their slice of the pie. Usually that is the biggest slice but how much of the revenue that is shared with your cam network will depend who you sign up with.
Your earning from each of your own live sex shows is usually about 35 percent of the total per minute rate charged!
If you are charging the industry standard, $1.99 per minute, then your cut is 70 cents per minute. Remember this is a guideline and there are differences between cam networks.
At first glance that might seem quite minimal. It would be a mistake to assume that you can only earn 70 cents per minute ($42 per hour). And that is because webcam models will always use cam-splitter software to login to more than one network simultaneously.
By logging in to multiple webcam networks at the same time, you increase your exposure and thereby increase the number of private sessions obtain in a given time period. It is quite common to have more than one member in a single private session at any one time by splitting the live webcam feed to multiple networks.
Be aware that increased connections will increase demand on your bandwidth and will ultimately slow your video feed. For best results, try not to connect to more than three or four cam broadcast networks at any one time. You'll get plenty of exposure and build a reputation and following from members in your chosen networks.
If you decide to work as a part-time or full-time webcam performer, you'll make so much more money than you could from your regular job. Its a great way to make a living, working from the comfort of your own home and working whenever it fits into your day."
